What advice would you all give to a blind american trying to get an entry level job with he U.S federal government with a b.a in political science? A problem that arises is that I use Window-Eyes that isn't accommedated in all departments like he IRS with SEAT standards for specific scripts for Jaws not W.E. I've tried out the following: The Work-Force Recruitment Program, Lion's World Training Program for IRS assessment, and the Washington Center without much success. Some would have been better with proper coordination not the way the way they were dealt in my experiences. Right now I'm contacting hiring coordinators of certain districts like for LGBTQ friendly states e.g. progressive states on obtaining jobs and turning in resumes.

Thank you,
Peter a.k.a Emily

I'm in the same boat. I've not had much success with wrp but am in the process of getting a schedule A letter from my vocational counselor. Do you have one of these.

Get whatever you need for Schedule A, contact coordinators so you can potentially get jobs before they hit usajobs, and learn JAWS.
